SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 provides seamless integration between SRS 2005 and Microsoft SharePoint technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Office SharePoint Server 2007). End users can view and manage reports from within a SharePoint document library using this integration facility. It provides an option to store SRS reports within a SharePoint Server, which is called as "SharePoint Integration Mode" vs. storing within reporting database, which is called as "Native Mode". Using integrated mode, user can manage report parameters, processing options and report history from within SharePoint document library.
